After YEARS of waiting for such a product I was SOOOOO excited when DeWalt came out with this product. Upon arrival, I went to assemble the stand and found that 1 of the 2 axle bolts was missing threads! Correct size, color, head profile, but no threads. Clearly this was an OOPS in the bolt manufacturing! Okay, stuff like that happens, but....

I called DeWalt parts to get a replacement bolt and after 3 weeks, the part is still back-ordered. This SUCKS! It is not like the part is a specially fabricated molded or custom stamped metal part.

So, I guess I'll take the other bolt on down to the hardware store and find a similarly sized bolt so I can use the thing.

That really sucks! Being a new product and all, I imagine part's won't be readily available just yet. You are right, that does happen. I once bought a 1lb box of wood screws, and about half of them had no thread's.

Sorry to hear about the bolt issue.
