what expected date : spring ? winter 20111?

in the 18V range ? maybe also a shift to slide-on batteries

more 10,8V (12V max) stuff ? like what kind of tool ?

when is the 18V cordless band saw due

Cordless Bandsaw is due mid year 2011. I think he means next gen... as in 12v drivers. Dewalt tends to launch the latest and greatest mid year. If your to expect anything great from the 18v line, I'd say expect it mid year 2011. Late June'ish.

If Dewalt is reading this, it is simple. Just look at Milwaukee and make all the 12v Max tools available!

12V MAX RADIO/CHARGER. I waited and waited since the 12v max line came out for a 12v max radio but i ran out of patiance and got the milwaukee. its perfect for me and alot of people i know but having to carry the charger with it is a MAJOR DRAG. if dewalt comes out with one i will thow my milwaukee in the garbage and get the dewalt right away.

Well with Porter-Cable launching their oscillating tool, Dewalt can't be far behind!
