Removeable deck

I sent this idea to DeWalt at least a year ago and they turned it down. Obviously they don't think there is reason for a larger deck area. I use this area to glue up, sand small pieces, for my cutsheet and hot glue gun.

In the end it's still a saw stand, not a work stand/table so I can understand the rejection.
However, what are those black material supports underneath? Now that looks like a nice accessory DeWalt should offer. They already have a line of accessories for this stand and I can see this as a very useful one.

The hangers are made by Rubbermaid and bought at Home Depot. Got tired of bending down to pick up my next piece. Have more pictures if anyone is interested,

I like the mods you have made to the supports with those rods keeping baseboards on the supports and not slipping off. Are those little wheels on the front?

That is a great idea, having a convienient table right next to your work area but below it so you don't have to clear it off every time you cut makes sense. I will have to steal your hanger supports as well, thanks...
