Anyone know how these rubber bumpers are held in place on the sides of the case and on the bottom of the batteries, adhesive maybe?

whenever i have rubber coming loose from a plastic case, i use superglue to reattach, and it works real good.

Actually it is a process called over-molding, where the rubber is molded in a secondary operation with the housing

In other words it won't fall off like dried up adhesive does from aging.
