Paint is all worn off, can't see numbers.  I can buy a new one from internet.  Is it easy or hard?  What are the steps involved?

I'm pretty sure it involves removing the chuck, their should be a locking ring holding the plastic sleeve in place.

I also noticed my Fwd/Rev Button does not have a detent click to it anymore, it is very sloppy, I can't tell by the feel if it is in the middle for the locked/safe position or what.  Is this problem actually with the Fwd/Rev Button or the VSR Switch or maybe both?

The two detent clips may have become dislodged, or worn down. Either way I would replace both clips, and the plastic shifter.
