Hello,

I'm hoping someone can help me with my issue. I recently purchased a DeWalt 18v Lithium Ion drill from an online store, and am having some issues getting the batteries to take a charge. When I put a drained battery in the charger, I get the double flashing light, which my manual says means that I'm using an invalid power source. Has anyone had this issue before? I'm just plugging it into a standard wall outlet. I've gotten it to charge sometimes, but not others. Sometimes if I unplug it for a short time, then plug it back in, it will charge. Other times it gets halfway through a charging session and starts double flashing again. I'm at a loss for what could be causing this. Any ideas? Thanks!

Because you ordered it off line, I would recommend bypassing the "return and exchange" method, and go strait to your local service center.  If it was a new tool, it will be under warranty (even if it is out of date code, show your receipt).
