I own one of these. I noticed it is discontinued. What was the rationale to discontinue this tool? Low sales? Problems with the tool? Hmmm.

I've been looking around and can't really find out why it got discontinued either..... bummer. I might guess is has something to do with the merger with Stanley? Stanley makes one, and if DeWALT was using a 3rd party to make them, that may have killed the deal. Much like the DeWALT Empire level deal. I pulled that one from left field, so it's just a total guess. It may have been killed because it didn't sell very well.
