Hi all,

I am planning to buy a good quality compound sliding mitre saw, but struggling a little when it comes to select one. I am interested in your opinion about DW777 - is it accurate and easy to use, etc, ... Any comment appreciated.

Regards,
Adam

It's not a model that is sold here in the USA, so I'm not familiar with this model. After watching this video, it looks a very efficient saw in a very compact package. Mr. Yellow lives across the pond, maybe he has something to add. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

This is an European model indeed. I never used one. They look great for smaller material and finishing work.
Sorry, I can't be of any help.

I am living in UK. As I previously said I am looking for precise compound mitre saw to use it for finishing work (cutting skirting boards, laminate floors, solid wood floors, light stud walls etc.). If you haven't used DW777 before, can any of you suggest other mitre saw which you have used and found it suitable for the work I've described above please?

Thanks,
Adam
