HI

MY FIRST POST SO I HOPE ITS IN THE RIGHT PLACE....

I HAVE DW745 TABLE SAW WHICH I HAVE ONE PROBLEM AND ONE QUESTION.

1.  THE LOCKING ARM WHICH CONTROLS THE FENCE IS NOT LOCKING, IT KEEPS BOUNCING BACK, DOES ANYONE KNOW OR HAVE ANY DIAGRAMS ETC TO HELP. I HAVE TRIED TO FIX BUT IT KEEPS BOUNCING BACK AND NOT LOCKING IN!

2.  PROB NOT POSSIBLE BUT I WOULD LIKE TO USE A STACKED DADO ON IT, IS THIS POSSIBLE?

The little silver spring plate that should fit inside the notch on the rail. If it's not seated inside the notch, it won't properly lock.

afaik you can use a dado on the 744 but not the 745.

I have a 745 and wanted to use a dado but was unable to because the arbor is too short.
